Oooh!! I need to try those noodles. I love these questions on buying new clothes! Q: how do you determine what is a high-quality fabric? I feel like even if I don't go with a fast-fashion brand, I often end up with clothes that still don't last more than a season. I've been trying to look more at materials when purchasing, but I'm struggling. Would love to know your thoughts!
Great question and honestly I'm still figuring this out myself. I usually look for natural fibers - or those where a natural fiber is a large percentage of the blend - like cotton, linen, or wool. I try to stay away from polyester and rayon.
There are honestly just some brands that I trust more than others for longevity. Like I swear by Uniqlo because I literally have clothes from them from my college years that still hold up amazingly well! (Although they are a fast fashion brand.) Everlane is another amazing choice - pricier but great for denim + classic pieces. Sezane is amazing for sweaters but they are an investment $$.

So helpful, thank you! And I totally agree that some brands are just better for longevity!
